I'm bummed that I'm not excited at all about my other job ... That I start at 230 today. Gotta make the money though, which is what I'll keep tellin myself.
Sucks a bit too, they want me for nights and weekends.. So if I tough it out maybe, just maybe, I'll get a better shifts someday.

It really is a bummer because everyone is super excited about it, some wish they had it and all I think is "I can buy some new shoes and get stuff for the house" "1 shift... 90 bucks. Tough it out" "I can pay half the bills with a weeks work..." and I still can't get "excited".

Maybe my acting skills will improve -or- maybe I'll like it ....

Our friends Chris & Kelly had their first baby around 3 in the afternoon 11.14.11. Her due date was the 10th, but he decided to keep up the suspense and stay in the belly for a few more days, so she and I had coffee and chatted instead :) Its pretty amazing, they chose to wait and let the babies sex be a surprise and that isn't too common these days. Kind of rad! Greg and I went over on Saturday night to have dinner with them, see the babies room & watch the fight. All things went amazingly and then the next day Kelly said she was having contractions every 10 minutes or so from 3pm on... then a day later Greg gets the text:

"Baby Button is here!!! Baby Button is here!!!"

I'm stoked to go meet him, they come home from the hosp Wed and I'm hoping that I'll have the lil amigurumi made for him :D (fingers crossed)!

No Reason You Should Forget The Date!

So Gregs old roommate, Courtney, got married Friday. Spent most of the day working on photos and not getting ready, which is what a good majority of the day should have been. I ended up doing my hair over 3 times before giving up (and that was in the car on the way to Ventura) and we made it there 5 minutes late but ended up being on time because they started later *whew* anyhow, it was fun. Got to meet some of Gregs friends and the groom, then a former (possibly renewed) & current contractor Gregs working with. So I guess it was a fancy business date almost :) with awesome food & a slow dance.

We finished the night giving hugs to the bride and groom and grabbing a red velvet cupcake topped with cream cheese icing (shown in picture, minus icing that I devoured immediately). Then left and drove home in the pouring rain, crawled in bed & passed out.

So, I put in a few applications on Tuesday (Gap, Sephora, UO & Aeire). Sephora told me to be back for the group interview on Wed, Aeire called & scheduled me for a group interview the 8th & UO said "come back any day before noon and have an on the spot interview." I figure get UO done the same day as Sephora and be done with em but my morning starts off not so well and for a minute I debate it only to come to my senses, get dressed and go to my "interview" at 11am, lunch & second interview at 3.

"Hi, I'm here for an interview.." "Hi! Do I know you, you look familiar.. is your last name Locke?" lots of lols and small talk "Do you have retail experience & have you filled out a questionnaire?" Hands me a paper to go home & do an online questionnaire then she'll be informed & call for an interview.
Lunch
Get dapper & head out to a dreaded group interview that goes fairly well for about 80 minutes. Said they'll make the calls and place demos on Friday.
Home, eat, sleep, wake up (to Thursday) & head out to have coffee & work on edits
Edit, do my questionnaire, talk to bf & mom, leave around 4...
Have an awesome "Hello Reggie :)" note taped to the truck, a la Dylan
Phone rings.. "Reggie? Hi, we met yesterday! I'm calling to offer you a job at UO, orientation Sunday.."

Well, as I told my bf, I would get him drunk on root beer if I got a job. Went to the store and bought 2 cases of A&W, then headed home! Told him the news, hung out with the guys in the garage for a bit before eating and making "dinner". It was a good day..

The past few weeks since I've moved have been up and down for me. I've been doing amazingly and have a fantastical guy who loves me BUT my own personal BS has kept me from really accomplishing anything. While at home, I get so easily distracted I can't even sit still for a few minutes AND if I do, I'm watching something then I pass out asleep or get up and lose complete train of thought or desire to sit and write.

I really wish and want to be consistent with my blog and hope I make a decent enough effort once I feel more settle.

I'm kind of alright with this. Kind of, until today my sister says, "I'm surprised you're not married yet. You're made for it." Then I think of the couple of people I had seriously thought about marrying, there have been 2 & I would have married in a heartbeat had I been asked, realistically.
I miss having someone there that I can tell all my dumb little things to and do stupid lil things with & the amazing cheesy things with. Thinking back on it, those were some of my happiest times. Sometimes I debate if its my habits, my sailor mouth, my beliefs (or lack there of). A few random things I think of often in terms of "I would have to find someone who can deal with..."

or Chinese for that matter
Cannot have enough beer
Late nights, late movies
I curse and I'm not ashamed of it
Nor am I ashamed of the fact that I LOVE HARRY POTTER

Doesn't help when your brother asks you, whilest on vacation and hanging out, "when are you going to squeeze out some pups" & your mother asks or "casually" brings up (at least once a week) her worries of when I'll marry and "be happy".
I've been happy, wanted to marry twice but wasn't sure of the other. I was wholeheartedly up for it but I think I'm a dying hopeless romantic and thats my friday night pity party. Now I shall eat more of my cold Chinese food, open another beer, watch Gangs of New York and pass out in my underwear.. thats how I do.

Dental Pro n Junk - Megan

Also whilest in Oregon (and the reason for my 3 week extended stay) I am getting dental work done, thanks to my every amazing sister

for helping me out, being a dental assistant and introducing me to a (her former boss) dentist that I'm completely comfortable with. Therefor I have gotten everything I needed to get done for a fraction of the cost that the gompers back home wanted to charge me and what they wanted to do to my poor teeth. Aside from my fear of needles (as in injections), I've been told that I've been an A+ patient and then on my side of it, there has been no pain and no real need for my prescribed vicodin (but we got it to be safe). YAY!

Adventures of 2011..

Whilest being in Oregon I've learned to shoot. Let me just say that for 97% of my life I have been petrified of guns and seeing them in my household hasn't given me a sense of protection, its given me minor anxiety. This has changed. Might make a good majority of my family, either being marines or cops, quite proud. I've had a couple friends tell me they would take me shooting because I have, in the past year, been interested in just shooting a gun (hahah, freudian slip & said "guy") for fun BUT coming up to OR, I have family that just shoots in their backyard (being a mountain) and offered to lend their expertise to SO....

Putting a shotgun in my hands and setting up 2 targets they explained how to load the gun, line up the target and whatnot, BOOM... after my first shot I felt like a kid at Christmas and my eyes lit up. I turned to Meg, mom & Daddy Rich and said "MORE", which they were pleased with. Leading to my 6 for 6 with a shotgun.

This is when I realized I wanted guns.

The following morning as Meg n Rose slept, I chatted with mom & DR, had some coffee and relaxed for about an hour before DR said "Hey, do you wanna go shoot some squirrels" and I was dressed and ready to go within 10 minutes. We drove out to his friends ranch and grabbed another gun and he explained what we were looking for, "they look like squirrels but their tail is about 2" long and they make this noise *enter noise that sounds like a bird* and we call them 'squeeks'." Color me happy, give me some bullets and show me the way.
We drove out on to Johns land where its heavily populated by squeeks and DR gave me a gun with a scope and offered to have me shoot w/o a scope but I wanted to learn how to use one so I said "nay". Took me a couple shots before I was used to the gun and scope but when I got my first squeek I was beyond thrilled. I do believe my 2hr total ended around 20-25 and I was proud :) John was giving me shit because there was a a short period where I couldn't find any squeeks and when I finally shot "you finally fucking shot!" hahaha. What made it better was DR said that in the summer they usually go out there with a cooler full of beer and spend the day hanging out and offin squeeks and told me to let him know the next time I planned on visiting so they could get extra bullets! I am SO excited to come back/go back and learn to shoot better, I never thought I'd be so excited and all about it!

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera charger & got no pictures of the squeek firecrackers, therefore this concludes Reggies - Addiction to Guns entry.

I Feel Like I'm In 4th Grade!!!

So, Rose comes home today and puts on some music and I hear the Mortal Kombat theme in the mix! I get amped and find the soundtrack online and have been listening to it for the past hour at least. This got me in a comic kind of mood and I soon realized how many comic movies are coming out this year!!! Seriously am so excited, makes me remember when I was in 4th grade and I used to walk to the comic book store with my friend Jenna to get new cards, comics & (some) pogs. We would geek out and watch X-Men, trade cards, organize our binders (I still have all mine and will never part with them), it was just the best time ever!

From his description, the clip seems pretty accurate. I've read a few reviews and people were talking about how its kind of underwhelming and / or having a campy feel but Ryan states how REO Speedwagon was the reason this movie happened, so it fits. Check out this other clip that shows a bit of dialogue and some sweet tunes. I for one and pretty excited, I get kind of a grind house feel and am a sucker for any Gosling film as he's a great actor and well, a babe.

Quirky things that I find attractive and that amuse me greatly, accompanied by mini-stories:

Black eyes. Do not know what it is, but theres nothing like a good shiner. I find them awkwardly attractive, I've even donned a faux version a few times out of boredom at first, then out of love.
Bruises. I have a fascination with them and find them beautiful in their own way. To sound totally spacey (no pun intended) they're like nebullas on your body, changing colors and shapes. I don't know, I just like em & am proud to say my greatest was in 03. I slammed my leg into a step as I ran up to my friends apt to escape the 100+ heat and within 30 minutes of impact, I was the owner of a orange sized lump on my shin. I was blessed with the beautiful bruise within a couple days and it stuck for close to a month.

Pregnant ladies! They're just gorgeous and don't even really need to do anything to show that they are. I've always been excited at the thought of having a kid and having my pregger belly, I just know its going to be amazing. I cannot get over how lovely Sarah looks. Obsessed! She just looks glowy (yeah yeah make fun) and healthy and content AND THEN her outfit is one of the cutest damn things I've seen in a while, even though this picture is 3 years old.

I would highly recommend listening to an actual copy of the song, but the clip was fun & I love those kids! I'll also use the lead into saying you should see Blue Valentine if you haven't. Incredible, uncomfortable, realistic & a dash of Ryan singing :x

I'm going to make an attempt at a real blog update! For the past few weeks I've been attempting to make this faux grass rug for a friend of mine and its done nothing but make me want to pull the hair out of my head. I've always been a hands on / tutorial kinda girl, reading patterns or diagrams frustrates me and I hit boiling point at ridiculous speed. So consulting with friends and looking up random tutorials online, it seemed 99% positive and that everything was being done right and that there was no need for me to worry, only I couldn't stop. After starting multiple other projects to calm myself and take my mind off of the rug from hell (its not actually that bad, but I get worked up), I finally sat down a few nights ago and tweaked the pattern to make it my own and FINALLY have complete faith in it and that it will stay together (which was my fear, that it'd unravel as soon as he walked on it). I give you a sneak preview of the Grass rug:

I've also taken up making granny squares to use up all my bits of random yarn. May just make a pile of them or some day decide to make an actual afghan or something of that nature. Lets not get started on my new MLB obsession and/or the fact that I cannot stop buying Giants colors. Just observe.

Mermaids & Faeries!!!

So I'm doing this 30 Day Challenge - Disneyland thing on Tumblr and as soon as I started I have been waiting for the "Whats Your Favorite Extinct Attraction" to come along. Every time I remember Disneyland from my childhood, the first thing I think of is the Submarine Voyage! I always remember how excited I'd get seeing mermaids (huge fascination as a child, thanks to my Sis In Law) and the shark wrestling an octopus (I would love to meet the person who bought this at the auction, can you imagine! I'd have it in my pool), it was just the coolest thing on earth! Hands down was my favorite thing in the land of happiness and would quite possibly be the same now IF they didn't eff things up and make it Nemos Voyage. If you asked me what they should have changed it to, I'd have said The Little Mermaid. No questions. Anyhow:

How cool were the mermaids?! Short lived due to chlorine and guys jumping in the lagoon but the idea was genius and I can guarantee you if it was still around, my job would be a Disneyland mermaid.

Needless to say that I'm THRILLED about the new Ariels Undersea Adventure! When I saw that they had taken out a huge chunk of Paradise Pier and it was to be replaced with The Little Mermaid, I felt like I was 5 again! Seriously, I may cry when it opens, I'm that excited!

Watch that and tell me you're not jazzed for June 3rd 2011 to get here, tomorrow! If not sooner, I will definitely be at Disneyland in June with Evelia and her baby girl. I will meet Amelie and bond with her over The Little Mermaid, maybe I can be to her what my sis in law was to me?

I heard today (April 5) was the day Kurt passed away 17 years ago. Can't believe it's been that long. So grateful for his contribution and inspiration. Not sure I'd be doing this if it weren't for him. He gave us all permission to create no matter what our skill set and reminded me that dreams are possible. Thanks for that. This made me recall a short piece of film I shot when I heard they were making a film celebrating his life. I made it to explore the character and explore creative possibilities. I never sent it to the studio or to anyone but thought I'd share it now...

Seriously I feel like a bum. I didn't work out today, didn't crochet or edit photos. I didn't even read, which was one thing I was guaranteeing myself of doing this weekend. Didn't didn't didn't, big fat EFF. However by chance I did find the soundtrack to Black Swan, that's a plus, along with the amazing shower I just took accompanied by all the LUSH products: BIG, Its Raining Men, Veganese and to smell (even more) pretty I dabbed on some Lust (which I love, thank you Wifey).
I suppose its not all bad, just bummed I didn't do my workout mostly. Seeing as how I've just induced myself with some coffee and the quiet house has my mind on overdrive, I'll probably be up a while and hopefully get some stuff done online. Fingers crossed.

I absolutely adore Liv Tyler. She's always been on top of it with her style, never over the top, always spot on. When she cut all her hair off into that cute pixie, I debated short hair. Then came 2008 and the hair cut that I am determined to have in a year or 2, the amazing 80s bob.

I dedicated this entry to Liv because I saw this photo and then I started having flashes of all the fun choices she's made in clothes via the carpet & the street.

To start with this particular outfit I was instantly drawn to her oxfords, I can't wait to get more in my shoe collection and wear em this spring, they're so cute!! I remember when I went to private school and was made to wear oxfords and I despised them, dreaded the days I wore them, but now they've made their staple on the fashion world and I am definitely more open minded than I was at age 10. Next, she's wearing denim & high waisted trousers which are both making a big stink this year. Extremely excited about the high waisted pants because I think they can be dressed up with a nice button up or silk blouse or you can just throw a t shirt on and you're off.

I Bring You Tidings of Joy & Sadness

Lets go ahead and get the sad out of the way. I was informed via a friend via Facebook, that Maggie Mudd is closing their doors on April 3rd. Granted I haven't been in about a year, but this ice cream is amazing and vegan friendly, which is how I came to know of it, thanks to Chris. The article says that the location is bad and that their doors may return at a different spot later on but I think part of the reason its so likable is that its out there and I always enjoyed the hunt for a place to park, it made the reward of amazing ice cream that much better! The creamcicle milkshakes were to die for and their sundaes!!! MM, you will be missed.

Now to recover from that blow, I'd like to first bring up a movie that I'm super jazzed about seeing;

The Tree of Life!

It looks gorgeous, the cinematography is going to be absolutely stunning coupled with amazing actors. Sean Penn is one of my most favorite actors, every movie he has done has got me emotionally charged; Dead Man Walking, I Am Sam, Mystic River, At Close Range:

When I saw Live To Tell as a kid, I was obsessed with seeing the movie and it wasn't til the last 8 years or so that I actually bought it and finally watched it, I definitely recommend it. But that's me getting off track, point is Sean Penn* is brilliant and I can't wait to see him in another movie. Yes, of course Brad is a fairly decent actor himself and not hard on the eyes so I guess I'm excited about him as well. Point is this movie is going to be one to see and talk about, you just get a soothing feeling watching the previews (at least I do) and it also makes me want to watch The Fountain lol, not that I need an excuse because I watch it like its my job as it is already. But the cinematography & the Tree of Life combo, yeah. This movie is probably going to be one of those I can watch non stop. Be excited, be be excited!

Another rad thing that actually happened last night was the second annual Runway To Green. A fundraiser with help of major designers that donates a portion of the proceeds to environmental organizations. I was seeing random tweets from Coco & Net-A-Porter about the auctions, specifically the front row seats to a Chanel show & meeting Karl and dinner with Harrison Ford (I'd be down Docta Jones!) Its a pretty rad thing, and you can now buy the runway looks on Net-A-Porter and help the cause(s).

Ok, in random web cruising I see a sidebar headline "Scarlett & Sean make it official..."! Wow, what? Ok, I don't dislike Scarlett Johanson, but this is just weird to me. Also the article I read said "Both are coming off unsuccessful marriages --to Ryan Reynolds and Robin Wright." I'm sorry, I thought Sean & Robin were quite successful with 14 years together, but that could just be me.

The Commitments asap! It is one of the best movies you will ever see, I'm a huge fan of UK/Irish humor and film. Its a group of random folk who've been scouted out to start a band, and every character is a riot, my favorite has always been Deco. Now let me tell you how oblivious I was to exactly how amazing he is, the actor Andrew Strong was 16 when this film was made. The voice and attitude that comes out of this guy is unreal, I absolutely love it. So do yourself a solid and rent / buy / watch this movie.
The Young Ones - The whole series, brilliance. When I was little, this was one of my favorite shows to watch, and about 8 years ago my mom surprised me with the Every Stoopid Episode box set! Vyvyan was my favorite (huge crush) then Rick (who most will know as Fred), the cast in general is just hilarious.

Hanna is just going to be awesome, good cast, amazing soundtrack done entirely by The Chemical Brothers AND my inner turmoil trend, bleached brows. I had completely forgot about this until I saw a preview for it on tv about a week ago. Let me say that I'm THRILLED for this. Saoirse is such a good lil' actress, I just love her.

I just found out via stumbling upon a tumblr dedicated to him, that Rico is actually tattooed that way. Now see, I have only watched the video a couple times and although he was in one of the parts that stuck out to me, there was no reason I would have thought that he was actually tattooed like a zombie. I think its pretty amazing, I love his jaw and the bugs crawling on his brain and the centipede crawling around his left ear. He said he did it because of Bazooka Joe gum, and loving the tattoos when he was little, he'd stick them all over himself.

I have a hard time sticking to doing just ONE thing at a time, and when it comes to being on the computer 75% of the time I'll want to have a movie going. My problem with that is: I can never decide!

I want to watch whats on my Netflix queue
Too many foreign flix that I can't get around to, because I'll be occupied with editing photos, crocheting, blogging, something.
When I pick a documentary, I want to actually watch and pay attention
Sometimes I want to see whats new in theaters & I'll see if I can find it, therefor I hunt

Its just a pain because, if I haven't seen it, I want to give it a fair amount of attention and if I have seen it, that must mean I liked enough to want to watch it again therefore I get sucked into at least 3/4 of the film. SO, a couple years ago in my search of a random movie to watch I found this gem of a site, Listen To A Movie. I swear to you, this is a godsend for an indecisive person like myself. You have a decent amount of flix to pick from and when you pick one, a little player pops up.
Right now I happen to be listening to Toy Story (along with quoting most of it) and working on a beanie, all the while I am NOT being distracted by watching anything. I simply picked a favorite movie and the audio is entertaining me, alas I am a happy camper.

That'll be all for now, I actually may listen to Big Fish and crawl in bed shortly. If I keep Toy Story on, I'll just lay in bed quoting the whole thing when I could be drifting off into slumber thinking of young Edward Bloom :)

TGIFaith No More

Weirdly amused by the little insignificant facts in life, I thought I'd start by sharing this one: Original lead singer of Faith No More, Chuck Mosley, AND Mike Patton were both born on January 27th exactly 10 years apart. I'm incredibly thankful for this band, I think I can say this is the band I remember listening to since the 80s. It brings back when I lived in AZ, my family, fun times when I worked at a music store and continually makes me happy every single time I hear them.

Starting with a classic song, and the video in which I fell madly in love with Mike Patton. Rumors went around that the goldfish at the end was Bjorks fish she had left at a house after a party, but its never been confirmed. I like to just go with it and believe. Stripsearch is just a sultry song, may just be Mikes voice but me-OW, it makes me all warm.

All in all, you simply cannot deny that Mike Patton is a musical genius with a great voice and that Faith No More was a pioneer in the music industry. Everyone likes at least one song, be it Epic or Easy, it brings a smile to your face and you can't stop yourself from singing.

Thursday Fantômas

The same year I completed my freshman year was the same year Mike Patton started the supergroup Fantômas, which is named after a French villain and consists of members from other Patton projects along with an addition from Slayer. Waiting for this other album Mike has said would happen, we'll just have to make do with the amazingness that was released betwixt 98-05. They're quite melodic and avant-garde, with some very slow songs that have a calming effect like the beginning of Rosemary's Baby. Then you get very amped up, hyper loud noises that are so incredibly addicting, you have to listen to more.

Its like watching a spaghetti western..

I believe the first Peeping Tom song I heard was Mojo and I was hooked, then I heard Sucker and I just knew that Mike was yet again, a genius. The name of band & album came from a movie called Peeping Tom, which is on instant Netflix and you should probably take a look at it.

Starting this Mike Patton week had me all excited, but I think I'm over-excited! He's done so much and its all amazing, to only pick 5 (quite possibly 7) bands/projects is hard, because I'll hear a song by another of his bands and think "OOH! I have to do a bit on this, but blast, I only have x-amount of days". I would like to think that everyone is a fan of at least 2 of his projects, therefore willing to give the others a chance and fall equally in like when them.

I would also like for someone to let me know its not absolutely ridiculous for me to find Mike extremely attractive with that hairnet on. Wow.

I have got to say that I'm pretty damn excited about Banana Republics s/s 2011 collection!! Because I've slacked on my fashion intake the past couple of months, I just recently saw the photos of the BR runway and fell head over heels! Along with the lace, the long mega skirt is in this season and I couldn't be more stoked. This is also going to help with the 3 year search for the ideal white dress!!!

Keeping with the "M" theme, I'm going to start off with some Mike Patton. Even more specific, Mondo Cane. I have a thing for Mike, and last year I came upon this project he did with an orchestra and band singing Italian pop songs. I seriously can NOT get enough of it, I actually crave it.

With all this speak of MP, I think I'm going to dedicate the week to him and do a bit on one of his bands/projects each day :D I just got really excited!! I think you should be too and I'll take my thank you's in the form of high 5s and go ahead and say "Your Welcome!" now.

I would swoon if I ever got to see this live, just melt. On top of having an awesome vocal range and being an incredible musical talent, the face attached to this man is great (wow, packed that sentence with compliments). Just watching his face when her performs is entertainment enough. There are points when he almost looks evil with his eyebrows and smile, then he'll let out that bellow "deep deep doooown" and its just great.

The fact that he did something different from what I'm used to hearing impresses me. I grew up loving Faith No More, then Mr Bungle, then Tomahawk, Lovage... etc., and now Mondo Cane. Whatever the man touches:

I hadn't heard a thing about this until yesterday, there was a preview with Elijah in bed tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable. Pan out and he says "get off the bed" to a man in a dog costume. Instantly I wanted it to be June!

I just finished watching Monsters, and I think its probably one of the better movies I've seen as of late, aside from Kings Speech & Rango. No crazy cgi, all edited and put together by one guy (mostly) and great improve & acting by the two actors.

On another note, I've been doing fairly well with my monthly resolution. I've been working out every day for about an hour and I've just finished 2 more scarves and doing a decent job of putting a dent into my yarn stash. I didn't get my pictures taken yet, like I had said I was going to because 1) There was no space left on my camera and never got around to taking pics off and 2) I keep telling myself "tomorrow". So I'm hoping this weekend that I get at least a couple more items listed.

Just the other day I remembered the Pay It Forward project that I'm doing and that I need to get myself more organized about it. The whole thing started with a random friend of mine and seeing it posted as her status on FB, then I posted it and decided that "5 people isn't enough" and doubled my PIFs. I have all of this year to send them something which means I shouldn't feel behind, but I do. With my list of people, some random ideas, alls I need is to get crackin.

Off to watch a bad horror flick and drink coffee at 11:40pm. Good night.

Through my continual exploration of chick music, I've found some random dudes. At this exact moment, a ginger has been thrown in my direction. I'm pretty sure I'm not into his music but as for his looks, I'm slightly intrigued. Yes, add it to my odd attractions:

If nothing else, you've gotta at least give some credit to that hair. Holy wow, I wish I had hair that just stood up like that, its absolutely amazing!! I'm not tellin ya to go listen to his music or anything just give the ginger some recognition for walking around hair that gives me intense flashbacks ...

On another note; movies. Firstly I'd like to say do not see "the Quiet", its awful and predictable but was one of those covers I saw at the movie joint and stuck in my mind so I subjected myself to bad cinema, and Edie Falcos boobs. If you like random movies check out The Saddest Music In The World, it took me a minute to get into it, then it was just a weird ride that I couldn't stop. Lastly, I have to bash this into your heads: go see *The Kings Speech !!!

Seriously. I finally got around to devoting the time to watching the whole thing and I absolutely loved it. Oscar well deserved *cough*hurt locker*cough* both to Colin & best film. Well done Brits, I love you.

I'd like to take a moment to say that I've achieved a solid week of working out and yarning, every-single-day!! I'm trying to blog, or write down bits to blog. I've been trying to work up some collages of ideas for Megs wedding and accidentally getting sucked into that for a while :x Seems like it can be said that thus far I've had 2 months and 1 week of solid resolution-ating! I'm going to go pat myself on the back and watch The Green Hornet whilst working on an orange beanie, wee!

This has sucked greatly. I've been jam-packed with stuff and orders the past couple weeks & had 2 weekends of Fisher sibling fun, therefore no internet access. I've got a busy couple days in front of me as well, and a clusterfuck of ideas in my head to go with the 8 skeins of yarn I purchased on Monday. PLUS, I need to take photos of about 6 new things for etsy.

I seriously need 3 more hands, 2 for crocheting/knitting & 1 to consistently feed me coffee and/or RedBulls.

On a not-so-new note, I'm (still) obsessing on some Mike Patton right now. Cannot stop listening to Faith No More and Mondo Cane. But to keep from going on and on I'd like to share St. Vincent: Ride. Random bit that popped up on my neighborhood plays and I love it, quite possibly my favorite out of all the songs I've heard by St. Vincent. Trying to research at 2 am isn't proving successful but the link isn't by the female St. Vincent (Annie Clark), its by one of the others who I cannot find right now. If my life depended on this, I would die by 2:16. Due to my extensive library of useless knowledge though, I can tell you that she was born 1 day after Lil Wayne, making her exactly 4 months older than me.
